The Critical Atom X-R is an intuitive little power supply that has been designed to include all the same great features as the original AtomX, plus a few extra additions!
Critical modernized the Atom X-R overlay design to improve the user interface experience. Critical Atom X-R is easy to cover and wrap for hygienic reasons and the buttons are still easy to use once wrapped / covered. It also has the unique voltage indicator that changes color as described on both Critical's Atom and AtomX power supplies, and a traditional display to show the exact voltage.
The Critical Atom X-R has two outputs for connecting multiple tattoo machines, whether you are using rotaries or coils. Critical has also added the ability to wirelessly synchronize the power supply with the CXP19 pedal, so fewer wires for a cleaner setup!
The Atom X-R can be used with or without a pedal, thanks to the pedal replacement method. If you are using a pedal, you can choose between maintained and momentary mode. This means you can use the foot pedal to operate your tattoo machine with a click or by holding the foot pedal as long as you want the machine to midnight. There is also a jump start mode for tattoo machines that need a little extra power to get started.
Made in the United States, Critical’s Atom X-R power supply has built-in short-circuit protection and non-volatile memory, which means presets will be kept even when the unit's power is removed. The power supply is also equipped with magnets integrated into the base for a strong grip on any magnetic surface.
